Product Evaluation Information

The Los Angeles Unified School District Board of Education recently passed several resolutions leading to the creation of a Sustainability Program within LAUSD. These resolutions were due in part to generate programs to comply with pending regulations from California State Assembly Bill 32, requiring reductions in Greenhouse Gas Emissions (GHGs).

To that end, LAUSD committed itself to becoming the most environmentally friendly school district in the United States.

Our guiding principle is that Sustainability Initiatives Programs will provide benefits for:

  • The students and teachers of the Los Angeles Unified School District
  • The environment
  • The District's budget
