Design Support

This unit provides services including:

  • A/E task order support
  • Invoice tracking
  • Financial support
  • Department of the State Architect (DSA) Coordination
  • Project tracking

This group provides quality assurance of documents ahead of submittal, maintains logs of outgoing and incoming submittals, develops and maintains submittal schedules and back-check appointments, funding coordination for DSA stamp and maintenance of partnering relationship between DSA and LAUSD. This unit is responsible for coordinating all administrative and clerical functions of Design Services, and managing all personnel activities in the department. The Administrative Support Unit is also responsible for generating project management, task order contract management, and personnel management reports
