Construction Support Services
Overview
Early in 2007, the Inspection Department was repositioned from within Existing Facilities to the newly created Construction Support Services Branch, which reports directly to the Chief Facilities Executive. This restructuring highlights the fact that the Inspection Department provides services for both to Existing Facilities and New Construction. Construction Support Services will continue to provide professional quality assurance and certification support for the Existing Facilities and New Construction building programs. This support is provided by experienced Inspection Department staff with backgrounds in public school construction, architecture, engineering contracting, general construction and specialized crafts.
Mission
Perform the regulatory and quality assurance requirements for the District and Division of the State Architect on school construction projects.
Vision
Our vision is to ensure that a project's contract requirements are achieved, resulting in project certification and a maximum facility life capacity with minimum maintenance.
